I am fortunate enough to have been able to purchase the referenced pump which I am now assembling after having made some repairs. The pumps widow glass was missing and I'm trying to replace it. The problem I have is that the threaded rods that hold the hands in place extend out beyond the clockface mechanism's face pan and a flat glass will not work.

I know many clockface pumps had a hole in the middle of the glass so the reset knob could be accessed but this pump has it's reset knob on the side. What am I missing? Was the face glass bubbled out or have I got the wrong mechanism in the pump? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi Marshall. Mike is correct......this pump takes convex glass lenses. I have purchased this glass in the past from Ronell Clock Company in Oregon. Great pump!

Mike and Yeley 101 thank you so much for the information. Looks like I need to contact some clock glass sources. Is it safe to assume that the glass you used had to be calked into place or did it have a flat rim so the original snap rings would work?

No caulking needed. There should be a thin snap ring that holds the lens in place.

Thanks Mike. Hope all is well as it's been a while since we talked. Very glad to be able to add the Aqua to my collection.

Yeley 101. I ordered a couple of lens, which should be here Wednesday. Wasn't sure if the snap rings would work. I should know soon. Again thanks for the lead.

Yeley 101, your recommendation for the convex glass lens worked perfectly. Thank you so much for responding to my inquiry. Tape in photo to demonstrate amount of lens curvature.
