On a original tokheim 36b was the gas company sign on the front alway a sign or did they ever use decals.
Specific ( Mobil Special Gas)

In the 1930's Socony-Vacuum would've used decals. The first tin pump plates didn't appear until 1941, the familiar porcelain shields didn't appear until 1946.
