Hi. I'm a UK collector of petroliana as we like to call it over here and I recently acquired a couple of US signs which I'd like to know a bit about. What era would they have been used and are they actually just reproductions? Any help on value would also be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Yes, Randy, and someone certainly went to some trouble along the way to "age" them. Of course, we've seen that before. Welcome to Old Gas, Lordupham. John

Fantasy signs... That's a new one on me! 😂 Thanks guys and thanks too for the welcome. Yeah they did look a bit too new to be of any real value but I took a punt as they were cheap. The search continues!

There are reproductions (remake of a sign that existed back in the day) then there are fantasy signs ( a sign that never existed back in the day)
