Hello,
New to this forum and working on my first pump restoration. A Tokheim 39 short with an oddity or two. Overall going well but now putting the newly painted parts together and can't figure out the cap. I bought the pump unassembled but it all seemed there. I can't see how the cap attaches to the top of the frame. There are no holes drilled in the cap piece itself. Hard to believe this would just be loose and unattached but I would have thought holes would be obvious. I can drill holes but wanted to ask first. Looks like it will be tricky to attach where the side panels seem to need to go on first.
May seem like a dumb question but don't want to mess this up. Any advice or wisdom would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Norm

There is two braces under the top. Long small carriage bolts go through the braces and then bolt to the frame with a nut.
