Since you are asking some of the membership to help you with pricing, we would appreciate you posting your items for sale here on Old Gas first.
It takes time to get prices out of the membership, as most members won't answer unless they are fully familiar with the item being inquired about.
Any pricing given will usually be fair and accurate, based on that persons experience with the item in question.
I am not familiar with that banner, but it looks to be missing the bottom banding? That will make a difference.
Looks like a very attractive piece though, it should interest most Sunoco collectors?

It is all there, just folded over. Large collection, would take to long to post.Right now I do no want to seperate.I appreciate the members help.I will probably be posting a few questions on value on some of the other items.Checked auction sites and E-bay listings on some.Family owned a Sunoco station from 1930 to the 1990s.Some of it is from our original station.,others I have collected over 50years.

See! I knew these things aren't worth the thousands that people pay for them. I've seen them bring like this one, $500 and I've seen people pay $2000. This hobby is so crazy some times.

Steve, You are right about the hobby being crazy some times. I've seen the same thing with S&P sets. One time a set brings a $1000, the next time it brings $100. It all depends on who is bidding on a particular day, and how bad they want the item. There is no rhyme or reason.

Regards, Jim

...or, that's just what it's worth...

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

If people are only in the hobby to try to make money or buy stuff under the "appraised market price", good luck. I have been collecting for 30 plus years. I say "If that item is what I collect, if the condition is there, If I have the money, and If I LIKE IT, BUY IT". Chances are that someone else will like it if you ever decide to sell it. Not every painting in a high end painting auction brings what it is "appraised" for. The appraisal is just someone's opinion. Some bring much less, and some bring much more! Keep it simple and have fun!!! And buy the way, Banners have never been that desired in the hobby of gas and oil. They are very cool because of the great graphics.
