I have two copies of the employee newsletter, "Inside Husky" that my grandfather had saved from his time with the company. The first issue that I am posting contains the story of the Husky dog emblem which is pretty interesting.

Due to the number and size of the jpegs (to keep them legible), this will no doubt take several posts to get it all on the forum.

...crazy that it cost them a total of $555,000 to acquire the brand, back in those days!...

Interesting history about the original brand based off of the painting they couldn't identify. Looks like it was the Siberian Husky by Edwin Megargee from 1942. He was an animal painter who also painted the running greyhound logo for the Greyhound Bus Co.
