I'm new to the forum and new to gas station memorabilia, except working for my dad for many years in high school, college, and after. He had a service station for 25+ years, Esso/Exxon. I'm thinking about making my garage a "museum" to an Esso station. Right now I've only got some small items left over from those days. I want to get a pump. I believe the second generation he had were Gilbarco 1000 series, but not really sure which one. I'll know it when I see it, pumped a lot of gas through one.

Right now I'm looking for information on the 1000s to determine which model I'm looking for. Pictures are best.

Anyone have a suggestion where to find some picture of the various models. I've been stumbling around the site but haven't come across anything that will help me do what I want to.

After the pump comes an Esso sign.

Thanks, Al

Hi Al. Welcome to Oldgas.com

Look up near the top of this page, just above the dark menu bar where you login. Click on the link "Pictures" and you'll find our Gas Pump Image Album. Click on Gas Pumps, then Computing Gas Pumps, then on GB Gilbarco. There are some 1000 series Gilbarco pumps pictured there.
