does anyone know what the material is that the Bennett 756 hose guard uses? the one i have looks to have some type of rubber hose over a thin steel pole. Thank you!

Louie, Yes you are right. The metal roller rod has a black rubber hose slid over the rod. This is how they came from the factory. Tom.
