I am trying to remove the pump handle from the pump on a Fry 17 without damaging anything.
I have sprayed PB Blaster on it for months and I am about ready to heat things up with a torch to get the handle locking screw out and the set screw on the bottom of the handle out.
Before I do, I was wondering what has worked for any of you.
Any ideas would be appreciated
Thanks, Jerry

Fire up your MAP gas torch and get the area red hot. Quench with cold water. Insert flat blade screwdriver into set screw slot and tap with hammer. Both should break loose. If not, heat again.

Torch, I like oxy-acetylene if you got it. Metal expands when heated, so I usually try to remove while red-hot (without quenching).
