I have for sale a real nice GULF one piece globe with raised letters with the brass collar. I picked this up last weekend with two other globes and it doesn't fit with my local Kansas collection. The orange color is still very bright and may have been repainted but the blue is faded in most areas. The paint can be repainted on these one piece globes and it doesn't hurt the value. There are no cracks in the globe and just the one chip that can be seen on the side two picture down by the brass collar. It appears that chip extends down the glass inside the collar because someone added silicone or something on the inside of the collar at that area. Overall the globe is in great shape and displays well for a 100 year old globe. Text or call me if you have questions or would like additional pictures. The globe can be picked up in Wichita or double boxed and shipped with insurance for the additional cost. I can't figure out why this globe hasn't sold. Good price and globes have really picked up in the last few months. Go figure.....GB
