I'm restoring a bennet 756 and inside for both doors are spring loaded bars that turn 90 degrees to hold doors closed. My question is on these bars are holes that would suggest that their might have been a rod or something going toward the access door to turn these bars. could anyone help me thanks jerry

There are supposed to be rods/levers that actuate the twist pawls and are accessible from the locking access door.
At least all the 700 series I have had worked that way.
