Hello all - I was wondering if I could have some assistance determining the date of a Bennett 3015 pump that I picked up here locally? Here are the numbers off of the pump:

Model: 3015
Specification: 1002
Code: 158
Serial Number: 7M 16078

Here are a couple pictures of the pump. (Note: I mistakenly referenced this pump as a model 4002 in a prior post! Combination of old age, no reading glasses, in a dark garage ha ha...sorry)

Thanks for your help! I believe Jack was able to date a similar 3015 pump in the past.

I have 3 of those pumps. Interestingly enough they have the same Mobil ad glass. I am not sure of the date but must be before gas went over .99 a gallon.
Notice how somebody cut the faceplate to accomodate the extra digit where the price would be. Mine are like that also.
Have one that is a parts pump if there is somthing you need.

Thanks Fasturn - I was wondering why there were "notches" in the faceplates :-) Thanks for the offer for parts also, I'll let you know. Actually , someone has already gutted this one and installed wood shelves in the bottom!

Your pump was born in July of 1966.

Jack - thanks! As always! I was hoping to hear something like that! My first car was a 1966 Chevy Impala :-)

Hi Viking

I'm the guy who posted about the other 3015

I'm in So Fla, so just down I95 from you.

Nice to see another Bennett 3015

Hi Scaramoucheii - Your Bennett 3015 looks to be in better condition than mine. I thought it looked nice after you cleaned it up and have it lighting up your poolside. Someone has tinkered with this one, they removed all of the lower components and installed some wooden display shelves.

If you ever want to trade or sell any pumps, etc., I'm just up 95...look me up!
