Actually, I was enjoying my new found freedom and I stayed up late (for me) to watch the end of the football game. I "slept in" until 6:05!
Regards, Jim

Congratulations...lots of people think about retiring, but don't put the effort to make it happen..i.e. save-save-save. All the best.

Congratulations Jim!
Your going to love it since you have a plan and have projects, your just not going to have enough time to do them all....lol. I was told that when I finally retired I'll wonder why I didn't do it sooner. Best wishes, Tom.

The only problem with retirement is that you never get a day off. Hope to follow your lead.

How about some helpful advice. DON'T DO THIS! The Monday after I retired, I was out of the house at 7 AM tearing aluminum siding off of the house. I finally could get started on this project. I started near our bedroom window. Wife was still in bed. NOT A GOOD START FOR ME! She hollers out, "What in the world are you doing? You've got the rest of your life to do that"! My project timing had to change after that. After 13 years of retirement now, she's getting used to me at home.
