We have had our fair share of em here many times in the Midwest.
A tractor hits a pipeline in Canada, our prices sky rocket 50 cents to dollar.A line breaks & fills a swamp in Louisiana, our prices skyrocket.
...A ladybug crosses over the pipeline, our prices skyrocket.

Six states -- Tennessee, Virginia, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama and North Carolina -- are facing possible gas shortages after a pipeline spill.

Went from 192.9 to 229.9 with the snap of your fingers. While one exxon right across the street sold for 192.9 , what they actual had on hand. One went to 399.9. made the news and dropped it to 229.9 minutes later.
Really not much of a shortage, just panic drained them dry. Tankers will have to haul longer distance so price will rise.

Here in SC out prices jumped around .25 cents. Supplies are being trucked from the coast so shortage depends on the particular station. Last I heard a temporary pipe was being put in place and should be up soon. The other day the fix was expected by the 20th.

What worries me is how dependent we are on a single line for distribution for so many.

I thought you said Wyoming was a long way from the refineries. You want us to send you some gas. Frontier refinery is about 5 miles from me and operating daily. Mitch
