Shawn-- My thoughts have been with you this week. This event returned me to a time when I lost my own parents. We all expect our parents to pass before us, but that still doesn't make it any easier when it actually happens. I lost my parents many years ago and the pain of losing them is as real today as it was then. I was very fortunate to have many, many fond memories of a wonderful childhood to fall back on. Cherish those memories, as they will help.

Thank you to everyone for the thoughts and prayers. My mother put up a good fight Like she had always done. She will be missed so much but she regained consciousness long enough to say good bye and with that my family has peace.
