DSP Ford Sign

Both holes on top are above the G & E on both sides.

My questions are:

Why holes on bottom? Haven't seen that before
Is the sign real as I believe it to be?
Sense of value?

Thank you in advance

confused There are a lot of members on here that know more than I do, but I have seen another sign hanging from the holes on the bottom. Something like "service" or "dealer." I'd need to look at the sign real close, but appears genuine with the PROPERTY OF FORD MOTOR Co. on the top. Sorry, can't help you with a value. Ed.

Here are pictures of my Ford sign. No holes at the bottom and the ink stamps are different. I do not believe the sign you pictured is an original.

There are many differences in the two signs. This one has been discussed many times and has been researched even more on the Model T and Ford site.

I have been researching so much my head hurts. This sign I posted looks different in many ways compared to confirmed original signs I have been able to compare with. Yes discussed several times indeed. I did search on here for those discussions and came to the same conclusion, it doesn't look right. Specifically the spacing between the letters and the white border, as well as the lettering itself. The space in the P & R have never matched up. Thank you for some insight. Any other comments would still be appreciated.
