I acquired this sign a few years back and had a couple of questions. The situation I found very interesting and maybe some of you folks will also is its history. This sign hung in the same location and at the same family owned dealership (as I understand the longest running Pontiac dealership owned by the same family) till its bankruptcy back in the mid 2000s. The sign is very nice but does have the damage you can see around the mounting areas and 2-3 hairline scratches on one side on the Indian. I have been told by the family the sign had been present since the 1930's possibly earlier. Does anyone have a vintage or range? Ideas on value as is? I have an original photo of the dealership and the sign back in 1954.
