Looking for some assistance on the value of 6 foot diameter Texaco sign dated late 1930's. The sign is double sided porcelain, fair to good condition, and located in the northeast.

I've reviewed some of the archives, but I didn't see anything recent.

Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.

You can look on eBay, too...that's a relatively common sign, and eBay will give you an idea of what they have sold for...

Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

Ive purchased 2 Texaco 6'ers within the last year in SC. One was a 58' and paid $850 and sold for $1150. It was in good condition, maybe a 6.5-7. The other was a 40's and paid roughly the same. Still have it in my collection. It is hard to find a decent 6' sign in these parts for less than $800, even if it is a common 6'er like the Texaco. When you throw in buyers premium and taxes it can get on up there in an auction setting. I love dealing with individuals but finding the time is the problem.
