I learned on Facebook that Robert Moore passed away yesterday. Wanted to share on here for those that aren't on FB.

Rob's OldGas Profile - moore798

Did not get to meet him personally, but talked to him several times and he was a wealth of knowledge on Sunray D-X products. RIP.

Sold Robert some signs a few years ago. Been friends ever since. Never met him in person yet seems like a childhood friend has passed away. Wish i would've taken the time & gone out to visit. Rest in peace my friend.

Sorry to hear....although I never had any direct contact with him, his name and avatar was one I recognized immediately as he was a frequent poster over the years. Sadly another loss of a long time knowledgeable Old Gasser.

Bryce, thank you for posting.

Like many (maybe most) that have been on Oldgas for a period of time; I sent PMs and the occasional Email to Robert. It is sad to read of his passing....

Haven't logged on in a while and was looking at some old posts when I came across this, Man I sure hate to hear that. Robert was a nice guy one of the few old gasers I have met met and been to his place. He was really passionate about his porcelain signs. I was through Pawhuska right after the first of the year and was going to look him up but I thought I didn't have enough time, really big pit in my stomach now wishing I would have done it Dang it. RIP Robert
