It's great to see that it went well. I know we talked before hand about the gamble, but you felt you did the right thing and the sale bore that out. Congratulations on assembling a wonderful collection and letting others have a shot at it. Only sorry I couldn't get a part of it.

I agree with everything in Kimnmarys post about how the sale was conducted, and the way that Mecums handle their sales. Martha and I did not have as big a sale as theirs, however Mecum sold our collection in November 2015 and I know their staff was a big part of the success. As far as prices go,I will quote an old livestock auctioneer (Emmitt Trainor) about prices. "Are ya buyin or are ya sellin?"

^^^funny part about it Norm... your auction was in Iowa in November, Kim/Mary's was in Florida in January... the weather was about the same for both. Cloudy, Cold, Windy... wish Mecum would do something about that!
