Hello, I just recently acquired a Windshield cleaning station for our display at the museum. Below are photos of before and after restoration. I was able to recreate the graphics for the decal on the front. WJCurator

Why didn't you just leave it as is?
A real natural "Survivor" and more appealing I think.

Very nice. If you do another, you can get the decal from T-Way Graphics, a member on here, Jim Treadway!

Do you have any updated pictures of the museum display? That cleaning station looks like a nice addition to your collection of period pieces.

With all the work you put into it, it's going to be a great experience for young visitors to imagine themselves 'back in the day' and older visitors to remember--though I imagine your gas station will be a lot cleaner than the working station back then! LOL

Tho...when you see some of the ones with the attendants all in white, I imagine some of them were pretty clean with all that less expensive labor on hand, to keep it that way.

The box looks great! As mentioned TWay Graphics has the Film Fyter and So-Dri decals. I have a couple of boxes that I restored, attached a picture of the latest box.

Thanks for the comments and posting of the photos. I hope my box looks just as good as yours when I hang it up.
