Found this today....German made Goliath automobile dealership sign. It's about 40" x 50" . I understand a Dodge dealership in town was looking into selling these in the late 1950's and got two signs ....this one and a round one. The deal fell through and the signs were stored.
One of the later owners of the building found them in storage and took them home when he sold the building and retired. I bought it from him. The round one was sold a long time ago.
Anyone ever see a Goliath sign before? The same company made Borgward, Lloyd, and Hansa.
