Wrong!!! This is a Gilbarco 900 series base. Never seen a short base on a Gilbarco 96. 96 bases are approx. 6" tall.

I think it's a 96 base that has been cut down...I have a 96 pump that has a 2 inch base. It still has the sticker on it from the company (Par-Tee) that did the cut down in 1960..

Defiantly 96 base. The front and back are flat to go with the flat doors. The 996 base is curved at the front and back to match the curved doors. I never noticed this until I was going to put a tall 96 base on a 996.

+1 on 96 short. I've had a couple 96s with short bases.

96 short. How do you know? At least I have proof I have a cut down, how would you prove you have a 96 short? G&B 96 pumps are hard..
