I know there are some very wise folks here! I have tried my research and can't turn up this can or these graphics on any other can. Just hoping somebody here might know a little bit more about the era of the can. Thanks!

Can you please post a picture of the back side?
Does it say "Philadelphia" on it?

Steve I wished I could tell you what the other side said! This is on its way to me in the mail! I'm going to assume its the same on the other side because he showed me the "worse" side.

Well it's unfortunate that this is the worst side, because this is the logo side. The back just has a bunch of text on it. When I get home I'll post a pic of the backside of mine just so you can see what your getting.

In short, it's from the early 20th century. Probably pre-1920ish or so. I have more details, but as I look into things this far back from different sources, I run into what seem to be contradictions. I'll post some stuff later today and you can guess for yourself.

Just so you can see what your getting.
I believe your can is older than mine. From the picture, it looks to have the lighter blue color and the Sun Oils looks to be in red. Finding proof of such things that far back is very tough.

Here's a photo of a Sunoco ad from 1920 and a painted flange that was on ebay awhile back. I'd say all are from around that time. I think your can, Steve, would be slightly newer, but not by much.
