VALUE?? HHhhmmmmm?
Value on mass produced cheaper type items can be fairly easy to determine sometimes, as all you have to do is research ebay and other realms for past sales and it should bring you to a conclusion.
This oil rack of yours, is something not often seen in the collectibles hobby and therefore leaves us nothing to base a conclusion on?
Value on any collectible is a fairly relative thing that is influenced by many factors and can change the value of an item by a lot at times!
Some of the more important ones being--Condition--Rarity--Desirability--Presentation--Affordability! It all boils down to the price that is amicably agreed on by the 2 parties. On that day, at that time and place, it was worth exactly what you sold it for! Tomorrow, it could be more--or less, depending on the same factors.
Do your homework and research other oil racks that have sold. Ask the opinion of friends and fellow collectors. If you're worried about the sale of it, maybe get an expert to give you an appraisal for a fee?
Its very difficult for anyone to give an accurate appraisal without seeing the piece in person, so most will be reluctant to give any information. Those wanting to buy it, will probably downplay the value somewhat.
If you've done your homework and are still unsure of the possible sales value, your best option is EBAY or some other consignment sale. When it sells at auction, the highest bidder takes it home and you're done with it!
You have a somewhat unique piece and it should easily sell when priced fairly and placed in an active market setting. GOOD LUCK!

First time I've seen one of these that I can remember. Love how it lights up!! Very cool piece! Too bad that top light up area isn't a glass STP insert. That would be the money shot!! Would add another $100 or so easily.

Randy, that is sweet!!
