Pennzoil curb sign and base, the sign is the rarer 20" diameter size, no chips, no touchups, no restoration all 100% original, in original steel frame, has a makers name at the bottom on one side " Wesco Signs NY " .. pipe is new and the base is old embossed "Property of Pennzoil , Made in USA".
I don't think the base and sign are from the same era.. it's a great find,, I can deliver to John Mancino's show coming up on June 5 or Columbus gas show on June 25 if paid prior delivery. asking $4000 ,
call for more info 519-535-5743

Steve love the work you do with the old pictures. Here is another example of answering the questions about age and location of a sign with a picture. Thanks.

Not trying to bust your chops wes....but this is the only size brown bell curb sign I've ever seen. Maybe I'm not paying attention. I know there is a 42 or 48.

see me at Mason Dixon Gas, Spring Carlisle M114-115, and Hershey C4E-35.

Damn, had a computer glitch in the middle of this.
Anyway, thanks Fred, and no problem!! It fun. Especially the ones like this that help us all with the history of an item like you said.

Bill, there is a 28 or 30" version. I don't remember the exact size. When I collected curb signs I had them both.

I was told by a pretty reliable source that the 20inch Brown Bell size was the rarer version.. that's all I know.. anyway the sign is in excellent condition. I stand corrected on the makers name it is " Nesco Sign NY " as opposed to Wesco.. thanks Butch..
