I am trying to figure out what this helmet was used for?
Motorcycle, aviation, or football. What do you think?

It's definitely not for football use as by this time you had very specific leather football helmets.
I have a black leather Buco similar to yours that was for motorcycle use. This skullcap design was widely used early on for both motorcycle and aviation users.

Thanks for your reply! Does yours have padded area for the ears?
Also does it have a strap that goes with it?

I didn't notice until you pointed them out that yours has ear pads. That would lead me to lean more towards aviation use, but as I said they were used for both.
My Buco does not have padded ears, and has the same buckle strap as yours does. Mine also has the small button straps behind the ears, which I've always assumed were to hold goggle straps in place.
