Hello everybody.

Here is a shot of The Keeper's Ice Cream globe collection. This is the majority of them - but she still has some in the house. LOL

Ok, stupid uninformed person's question here...where these on pumps to advertize what the store might also sell other than gas?

I WOULD GUESS STRONGLY NOT. PROBABLY SOME OTHER FIXTURE LIKE AN ELECTRIC WALL SCONCE EITHER INSIDE OR OUTSIDE MOUNTED TO THE BUILDING LIKE A BARBER POLE SIGN.

Probably mounted under the Canopy [like a ceiling globe, rotated in body 180*].

Thanks for the "kudo's" guys.

Jodi probably has one of the largest Ice Cream globe collections around. These are extremely scarce since most came from Mom-N-Pop stores that probably only had one or two globes to begin with.

And yes, most of them were designed to hang from a canopy outside and upside-down.

The Feldman is a single lens. I made a custom 'Orange' back lens for it so when it is lite up, the glow behind matches the color on the front.

I'll try and get some more shots of the 'Display Room' soon and post them under another subject heading.

Later . . .

Jim

Looks great nice display. Jim noticed the odd size of one we spoke about. Forgot to mention it. So seller is more confussed as to what he's selling. Thats why your the globe guy.
