I had to drive Friday morning out of town in a snow storm to get this Canadian Bennett 541 four window pump but it was worth the trouble. Just missing a couple of parts and have the hose and nozzle replaced but nothing major. Really heavy to move by yourself though.
h2oski......ive got collecting issues already on other things..lolol but i just love these old pumps. Im trying to work a deal on two completely gutted ones now. I want to make one into a cabinet with mirroring and shelves for displsy and the other into a cigar humidor. I collect cigar stuff too
[quote=MtGoat]Im new to collecting pumps but heres a find i got, its a normal/average pump probably to you all but for me my first rusty and dusty find..
A Tokheim 39 LRP short
Congrats on your first pump Larry!
Here is my one other buy, the pp didn't come with the pump. It's always been a Hancock pump though!
Finally picked up another Shell light-up lens a couple of weeks ago and got it installed last week. I bought this with one lens missing a little over 6 years ago. Thought I'd never find a good unbroken lens to match the one I had. This one measures approximately 54" wide and 57" tall....
Nothing exciting. Tokheim 300..price was right. Even though I only collect Texaco, this poor little Conoco guy was headed to the scrap heap...so it followed me home.
I have had an extra clover body laying around for a couple of years and chanced across this nice clover lens on facebook last week! I was lucky enough to be first in line this time! I'm always looking for any clover shaped lenses for sale, if there are any out there!
Please Don let me know if you need a hand next time, I'm only a half an hour away and would be more than happy to help. You've always been there to help me when I had any questions. Trevor
