Back on 11/25/16 St. Rod posted a thread on Shell chairs. Sense that time I went on a mission to find this type of chair (not easy to find).
Three chair came my way recently and I have finished one of them. I wanted to share a before and after pic.

I've been looking for one of these chairs also since I saw the post about them awhile back. Looks great!

This is very funny. I am working on two my self right now. Just in the sand blasting stage but taking some time I still have snow on the ground so makes it hard to sandblast lol. Yours look great. And yes they are not easy chairs to find. You did a great job.

Thanks for the kind words. I am also working on my 2nd chair and it to is ready for sandblasting. This chair is a rocker chair and will be done with the Flying A theme.
