Wanted to start a thread for everyone to share your favorite unrestored
original patina pump(s) that you have in your collection. (paging John Kramer... i've heard you have a couple)
Please no restored pumps, no rustoration pumps, etc. Just those that have remained the same since removed from the station or farm.
Here are my two favorites...
This is my Wayne 60 with the still visible Wilshire Radio decal.
It appears that it never had a globe.
love that one with the indian globe Les! a lot!
Favorite of mine........
This is my favorite, LOVE the Firestone Steve, Les nice collection!! Lets see more.
This should be one of my favorite threads of all time. I love 'em like this!! So far they all look awesome!! But Les, wow, great line up!! Absolutely love that Mobil globe too!!!
The Wayne Brothers!
The 2nd pump I found, around 1989. It still sits outside my garage with the original roller nozzle, chain driven pump inside still in working condition. The farmer had to get $100. for it
A Diamond lubster:
Think I have an old Sinclair Aircraft globe that would be a good trade
for the 800 Kevin
Great line-up!
these un restored pumps seem too have a little more personality than the restored ones- like they've seen a lot, good post with a variety of cool pumps .. ...
My grandfathers old farm pump that started it all for me.
This was stored in a building in California for many years...
Here are a few of mine
Dennis
That pump is Killer! Jim
Tokheim 39 as found.
Great collection of pumps, Matt!
Also, great looking pump there, Dennis!
Thanks for sharing.
Very nice collection Matt! This thread if we can keep it going will be great reference for the future. Really a good idea Bryce.
Matt
You forgot your Wayne 40 Shell pump!
Here you are, one Shell Wayne 40
Wow Les that Esso pump is just sick!! It's like you brought it back in a time machine!! Beautiful!!
more
Great stuff guys, really happy to see so many that have not been touched.
Thanks Steve, I forgot to mention that the face plate is new and I have been looking for an original. But the hose is original.
Keep em coming guys.
not much patina... but here's my original porcelain A38
Here are a couple of mine. The first one on the left, is a Tokheim 34 with original paint and in the second picture on the left is an American 900.
I'll try to take some more pictures this evening but things are packed in my garage pretty tightly. It's a sickness with no cure and I'm okay with that.
Great topic!
Matt, your pumps are awesome.
Here are a few of my favorites.
Tom.
Here is my unrestored Wayne 276.
Still sucks air when you turn the handle and outside shell moves up and down, smoothly!
Best thread ever! Loving it..gotta take some pics later.
Nice line up Tom!! No wonder we cant find any 60s
Brian
My one and only pump. Love it!
Just picked this one up!
Couple more!
The more I look at this "Look" of original wear/patina, the rustorations, or even some of the better done fake ones, the more I like it. This original pair doesn't have enough rust but its all I have to share right now, working on another.
I see the thread slowed down. I wanted to post a link to a previous patina thread but did not want to take away from this one until it slowed.

Nice Original Patina Pump From A Ma & Pa Country Store ?
Posted this on Facebook yesterday so some may have seen it already but here is my most recent pump found it on craigslist about 30 minutes from my house.
Here is a cool Sinclair HC Bennett 646.
Here are a couple of mine
Started moving the plants that spend the winter with me so I can finally take a pic of this one that's in my shop office.
Matt, with all of your great pumps I'm surprised you won't have one squirreled away.
.
...
This is a great thread!
I have not been on Old Gas in a while but have spent a lot of time looking at these pumps tonight as well as the previous thread of mine that Matt brought back up. Thanks to all that have left their pumps as is and posted pictures for all to enjoy. I will try to post a couple of pictures of my pumps that I did not post in the other thread.
Love the row of Bennetts. The Wayne 40A is really clean and the twin Tok 300 is cool.

Thanks Matt! I have been saving those for a while.
Thanks I am so proud of that pump that when it comes to buying either a hot water heater, or a new heater for my house, I insist on only the Rheem brand.
Rob
Thanks Braden,
I really like yours also!Especially that Wayne 60 showcase pump and the Hayes cash recorder!
See you in Iowa soon,
Rob
It would be VERY cool/nice if under each picture it gave the description of the pump pictured.
On another note, this pump is very cool!!!
What is it?
I am assuming this "Butler" is a "Hard_to_Find" pump. Am I correct?
Thanks Steve for sharing the photo.
The Butler 131 is not an easy pump to find these days. My wife and I bought that one from a farmer in North Central Kansas. We actually unhooked it from and island. Next to it was a working Wayne 70 which we left behind because he wanted too much for it.
BTW pumps like this one are left complete guys and all in my collection whenever possible. Some of my pumps still run.
Rob
Thanks for the heads up, Rob!
Killer Design!
Here is our 1936 Wayne 60 SN 3605-BD
This pump has been stored for at least 50 years..The tragic thing about this, there was a matching pump that.....Ugh, Went to scrap yard.. We believe that this pump Started as a Sunoco pump. Not sure but we have two layers of paint
Top layer is Cities Service scheme and the next layer is Sunoco with blue and White ad glass then metal..
We believe computer was changed/Swapped it has an M&S Faceplate and NO Reading meter through the side which I believe was the standard for a 1936 pump..
If anyone has info or suggestions please let us know.. Thanks.
Rob & LouAnn
Nice pump Rob and LouAnn,
What part of Jersey was it found in? I was born in Patterson NJ.
Gas Pump Rob
This pump was holed up in Riverside NJ (S.Jersey) We are unsure of the original origin. But it's been in the family since around 1945.. In the time frame before that (9years) we've only determined that the last coat of paint was Cities service scheme and the original coat of paint was a Sunoco scheme. The only thing we're confused about is the ad glass which is White w blue lettering. We've been told they exist but we can't find that color scheme on ad glass ANYWHERE. Help is appreciated.. We KNOW we can reproduce.. we just want to find it to verify it's existence elsewhere
Oh Riverside Ok. Pump looks to be in grand shape congrats on keeping it in your family that long Wow!! Sorry no info on that ad glass.
Maybe another member will chine in on this.
Rob
I have received a lot of help from the forum on this pump...
Only problem is ,I'm too excited about our first pump that many of you have been doing for years now.. Hopefully the old salt doesn't get too frustrated with me.. Haha
Found in Ionia Michigan.
^^^ Very cool pump Greg. ^^^
Luv that Green WB Wayne 60,
Dang, is that Bowser original? If so it must of had an easy life. Great pump! There all great, nice.
Unfortunately not mine. Saw this sell in an auction last summer sell for $1900
Racecop and I picked up this Erie 90G the other day. This is the cleanest, nicest and most original pump I have ever bought. Original paint as well. Came out of an old Chevy dealership at one time and must have been inside most of its life.
Nice Erie Keith. Will that or your Sinclair HC Bennett 646 (posted elsewhere on this post) be on the "For Sale" trailer coming to IA?
Last one I think...LOL
Here is a Bowser 102 with original globe and a frye with an original cylinder
Here is my Erie 753 and G B 66

Daryl,
I love that pump and the paint on it congrats on finding it! Pump lover's dream
Rob
....and one more from Racecop and I we just picked up.
My A.O. Smith 483
Pulled this guy out of storage a while back but got it together this last weekend. Does anyone make water transfers for Phillips? I've looked at the obvious places with no luck, would be great if someone could point me in the right directions, thanks! Les
Something from the UK!
The pump is a Shell pump manufactured by Vickers, Erith, Kent for Shell. It dates from the mid 1920's, and has been a Shell pump all its working life. The 4 star marking on the vertical sliding door dated from 1967, so the pump had been in use for the retail sale of petrol for some time. The Mobil oil cabinet probably dates from the 1930's, and would have housed a 5 or 10 gallon oil drum. Both these will be left as found - you can't recreate originality!
Sorry about the poor quality of the pics - better ones wouldn't upload
couple recent ones I added. just need some patina pump plates for the texaco 541... the milwaukee visible has original red/orange color scheme, still trying to figure out what brand that might have been.
Lets keep this going, here is one of my favor pumps from the design stand point. The Clear Vision 203.
Hello from Salt Lake , I am new to the Forum but have been collecting old things most of my life . Here are some original pumps I have , sorry for the small size of the pictures but we had a hard time figuring it out. Anyways I see there is a lot of good information to be gained from here as well as friendships to be made . Thanks for your time . Peter
Wasatch Man you have some great pieces!
Thanks Tom , I feel lucky that I just liked the stuff for how it looked a long time ago before it got so popular and expensive . I could not get it again in todays world .
Dang, that Veltex is off the hook!
Peter. Unrestored pumps are my favorite. Great collection!!! Thanks for sharing. J
Thanks Jim , good to hear from you.
Here is another one.
Nice pumps let's keep this thread alive with even more as time goes on!
Rob
Hey when you guys post your pump can you let the rest of us know what kind of pump(s) are in the picture. Its not always obvious.
Here's my survivor. Bennett 76. It's unusual to have a pump with paint survive the Texas heat but this one spent it's life indoors. It seems to have started out Sinclair and got rebranded.
WOW Morgan!!!! That is a dandy!!! That whole set up is beautiful!!!
Incredible to say the least! That is amazing.
Saw that on FB. That is one awesome pump!
Out standing pump and globe , Does not get any better than that !
Four of my clock face pumps. Left to right, based on their identification tags, are a Wayne 861, American 500, Bowser 410 and Milwaukee 880.
Hardy's Garage has "
Killer"
clock-face pumps!
Awesome pumps Peter, particularly the Hayes Visible. It is killer!
Thanks for sharing.
Mike
Well located another old shell globe from a old gas member here. Looks to fit right in with this Bennett.
Awesome pump...they belong together.
Got a pm said the pump look Funny, what is it?? Wayne 866 straight sided (No Hips)
Pulled this guy out this weekend. It has a different cast top that I have not seen before. Unfortunately the ID tags is missing so I have no idea what series this is? I checked Jacks book and the tops that are in the book are different then this one.
Tokheim 36

Thanks Ryan, I know it's a 36 but would the suffix be with that style top? Maybe Jack could chime in.
As far as I know it is just a 36.
That is a regular top for the 36. They had a optional glass top and after the 36B came out they offered a modified 36B ad glass top with a adapter plate to fit a 36.
Latest grab...
Dang, they don't get any better than that! You lucky dog, I'm envious.
I got this gem from a buddy in a pile of parts pieced it together with a welder it's a mess but I kinda like it
Original G&B 78
the one above is all original? I find that hard to believe, isnt that pump plate from the 50s?
Texaco would not have painted a pump like that.
BryceG You missed the date on this pump plate by ten years it is dated 9-40. This pump was pulled out of a closed down Texaco Station in Grants New Mexico twenty years ago. The only thing I did was to wash all the bird ***** off but it sounds like I missed a couple recent spots.
Bruce.
The Mobil cabinet is excellent looking!
Picked this up in Nebraska recently it's complete other than some bolts that were missing. Not planning anything special other than adding a old 15" metal globe to it, not sure what company I want just want it to look old to match.
It has the remnant of an old round decal near the bottom but it's beyond recognizable at this point. Globe is obviously a temp while I'm looking for something that's right.
Now that I can post pics, here are a few of my original pumps.
That's it for now
cggas,
Awesome display of pumps!! Very cool!!!
Brian
These are a couple of my favorites, nice pumps everyone !!
Nice Bennetts. The porcelain one had a shoe box globe originally, it would be cool to see one back on it.
Shoe box would be awesome for sure !! Got an extra laying around? Lol
Shoe box bodies and three styles of lenses are being reproduced. The problem you may have is the holder. Here is a picture of a pump with an original holder (not mine). If there is enough demand for a 646 holder I can send the holder I have to Paul to make a mold.
best one ever found in original paint congrats Junior
Great thread so I thought I would keep it going, Attached is a picture of my Bennett 541.
Sorry about the sideways picture but it was straight when I started. I'll try again!
