Picked up a decent 42". It was being used as the center of a poker/domino table by an old pure jobber.

Could have been the same one, Jim. If the story I got is true, it's a different one. The seller states it was his fathers, and he had had it for as long he as could remember. His father was a mechanic and worked for racing teams. Didn't know how he got it, just knew he had it a long time.

This one below was on ebay a year or two ago. Might be the one you're thinking of. It is signed by midget drivers from Gilmore Stadium. Wanted it, but I was outbid
