Man the prices.

overall, strongest prices I have seen since pre-Kyle Moore collection. everything brought strong money, even the common and lesser condition items. the only stuff I saw that went a little low was some of the globes that sold in the middle of the auction.

I watched it on and off and somethings really surprised me on the prices but I guess that is just what auctions do. With buyers premium and shipping it's just not worth to me anymore to play at auctions like this.

Well its fun to follow along and see what is out of my reach. I was hoping to win a small house hold oiler but it soared to 500.00 bucks. A little insane I thought but thats the nature of the beast. I also noticed some globes were well bought. Dan thanks for posting the link.

I think globes are a good, safer area to collect personally....about the only facet of this hobby where repros won't kill the market and they're a pretty safe bet if you know what to look for in originals. Repro globes for restorations have been made for years, but were never meant to deceive 99% of the time, unlike the plethora of signs that have hit the market in the last 5 or 6 years.
