I was given this Johnson sign, and I would appreciate any help in determining its value. The paint is in rough condition it had been hanging in my Grandfathers garage for years.
Thanks,
Cory
The fact that it belonged to your grandfather should make it priceless to you.
I agree to anyone else...minimal value in that condition.
Not worth selling. Keep the family heirloom.
get one side restored... that way you can still enjoy the piece while still having that nostalgia with it being your gpas
Welcome to Old-Gas.... Agreed Minimal value as it is.
But just remember a restored porcelain sign is done with filler and automotive paint and not restored in Porcelain.

NO Sentimental Value, except for $$$
Your sign is on the verge of being undisplayable.

Would cost a small fortune to restore. Leave as is...
Dick Bennett all over it. He investigates more thoroughly than F.B.I.
There should be no value on this sign as it was part of your family history, as much as it should be this is the sign my grandpa had for years !
If it was at a sale and they said make offer I might go to 40 bucks but im cheap.. and if it was your grandpa's no way I would sell it for that.. its shot but still might look cool in the right spot
Definitely a beater! Rare sign tho
I agree get one side restored and keep it. Value as is is none in my opinion other than the "Family" value. Scott B.
The guys are all correct! No real value, but as something owned by your grandfather, it should be preserved for family ownership. Either leave it "as is", or do as suggested and restore one side, so future generations might see what your grandfather had seen in the sign!
