Looking for a value - porcelain sign is not cracked, in good condition, minus the paint over. Thanks, Jason

that ain't going too happen, it all depends who's at the auction- it may slip thru because how it now looks- if that cleans up with no porcelain damage-
value: 1500.+
hope you get it for $500.
Jason- post outcome of this..
good luck... cool

That's more about what I would expect. I dont think that paint will scare anyone who know's what this is.

Haven't heard from Jason yet but I was also at the auction last night that featured that lollipop sign. I was also hoping I could pick it up for < $700 but I knew it wasn't likely. That piece had been on display at the main entrance since the beginning of August, as well as their website photo gallery, so it had received plenty of attention I'm sure. I briefly spoke to the auctioneer and he told me he had done the paint removal and just hadn't bothered to complete the other side. He figured it was probably similar condition and I would agree. I think it will look great after the paint is completely removed.

Anyway it opened at $600 and ended up going for $1050, not including BP. Seems like a good buy if the other side cleans up well.
