I would like everybody to give their opinions on the value of this pump. Everything was sandblasted. Everything on inside is detailed just like the outside. Most parts are original. Only thing repop is globe ,decals, hose, and new rubber around windows. The tetraethyl signs are original signs, just not the ones that came on this pump. They were to far gone for my liking. I'm about 99% sure this was an original gulf pump. When I removed the tetraethyl sign I found what I think to be original paint. I do not know much about this model pump. I have done numerous searchs for the C38 National but never came up with much. Does anybody know if these pumps were made specifically for Gulf ? Also any other info along with value would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Nice job restoring that one. It looks really good. It's hard to say a "value" on it. This style pump don't usually bring too much money although they are neat pumps and you did an exceptional job on it. These usually go for 1200-1500 restored but I would say yours would bring more than that to the right guy at the right time. I wouldn't personally sell it for under 2k and I can imagine you have less that that in it. Good luck and I hope this helps and you get more than the norm!

In my region I believe I could get $2100-$2800 for that pump. If I wanted it to sell within 2-3 weeks I think $1750 would bring a quick sale.

I'm pretty sure these pumps were made specifically for Gulf. But, they very easily could've been rebranded later in their life......Those Gulf pumps have never been one of my favorite pumps but I would display that one in my house with pride! Nice job!

Imagine that.I guess I just had not realized that prices for what appears to be a nicely restored, mostly original and uncommon pump had fallen that far.Oh well, live and learn.

Thanks for all the great comments. Its not for sale anyway. A fellow gas pump friend and I was having a discussion on pump prices. So I posted to see what everybody on here thought about it.
