Can anyone tell me if this is a period correct pump plate. It is about 8 inches in diameter. Thanks.
looks good to me. This went below or above the brand of gasoline; or just on the face of the pump door.
Heres one as found in the wild with that sign in place on the side panel. Urs is a repro as it doesnt have the stainless steel grommets, sorry
I believe they all had a hyphen in anti knock
The 'EGC' logos had the hyphen in Anti-Knock.
The later 'EC' versions did not.

the 'EC' has the hyphen between Trade-Mark
the 'EGC' versions did not .. ...
I was curious to sit back and watch this thread and see what the comments were. When I posted my plate exactly like the one in question a few years ago I was told it was a reproduction. The person I bought mine from told me it was an original and removed from a unmolested pump. With the weathering on the back of mine I still feel it's an original, but due to the hole placement I was told it was a repro without a doubt.......who the heck knows anymore, lol?!

Sorry about the four "Likes" on Darin's post, Gang. My computer got carried away (not the operator, of course). Only meant to do one "Like". John
