i have looked at ebay and tried to get a id of what my sign might be worth today. i think all the aged reproduction signs that are listed there have killed the market for the regular collector same for the arrowhead and pocket knife market along with all the other markets. i looked at some of the auctions sites that deal with the petroliana sales and had one auction site return with a value and a offer. you folks have seen this type thing covered many times at auction and private sales. with the up and down market what do you think the value today would be. it is 15" with a little rust and what looks like a rock peck, it lays flat and has good color for being buried for so long

would you post a picture of the back of your sign? .. ... cool
I'm posting picture of an original 15" texaco sign with the U.S. Reg. Pat. Off. .... trademark
your sign doesn't look right with more than the trademark being different-
pictured is:

IMO, it looks original, with the chip on the "C", make it $350-400 retail. You might squeeze $450 out of someone if you are selling it.

Sign is real. I agree with Coltex on prices. If it did not have the chip in the field and was slightly nicer it would be $400 to $500. However it is pretty nice the way it is.
