Good morning all,

I'm curious about an oil can a friend gave me. It's an all metal, round Whiting Motor Oil quart can in pristine condition. In searching the web I found very few pictures and/or information. Been all over ebay a few times and it seems to be rare. Can any of you guys add anything to this? I am wondering what's it's value might be since it seems rare. Thanks in advance for anything you can share!

Scott

Whiting Oil was based in Clifton Forge, Va. These cans turn up from time to time locally and are quite scarce. You also see their 2 gallon cans once in a while. I've had a few items from Whiting including a couple of porcelain signs. Your can is in exceptional condition and I would say it'd sell for north of $150.
