Does anyone know anything about this same type sign that does NOT have the white ring around the edge?
Trying
to find out more about it but can't locate any info. on it.
Same year, size, etc . and IS definitely an authentic 1954 . If anyone is wondering.... no , it hasn't t been painted green over where a white rim may have been, it was made without it.
Also, what are these type signs most commonly called...bubbles, fisheyes, buttons or what ?
Thanks and happy Easter to all !
sign of subject .. ... cool

Thanks Randy, yes -the one I speak of is exactly like it - minus the white ring of paint all the way around the rim.

I've mostly heard them called, "button" signs. I can't recall ever seeing one without the white trim though.
well, I finally found one just like it but don't do worthpoint and really don't want to sign up for the free trial....it's not like I have much of anything else I'm wondering about .
If anyone has a worthpoint acct. and will take a peek/let me know what it sold for It'd be greatly appreciated.
This is EXACTLY like it.

Thanks again Randy...yes, that's it for sure . Seems to be a very scarce version of this sign or at least I still can't find it anywhere online except at that worthpoint site.

Might just be a factory defect. One that slipped through the cracks before getting it’s final white ring. But I’m not sure, just throwing that out there.
