Looking for original traffic lighthouses...with or without globes...skeletons without signs...Send pics to shaunhiggins@comcast.net Thanks!
That is really cool, need one of those for sure. Must have been a east coast thing.
They were common all over the US but I believe many were destroyed possibly for scrap during the war...
Those are just way too Kool! Would love to run across one.
So cool. Sean, were they lit with Acetelene, propane or natural gas or? That AGA insignia looks similar to the modern AGA/Burdox logo... Are any of the original lighting works still present?
Wow. Thank you for sharing this find with us. Looks like you could almost hook up a bottle and fire it up.
I hope to have it restored and ready for Iowa in August..
Still looking for complete or parts lighthouses...Thanks!
Shaun there was one exactly like this at Hershey but restored. I have a good photo...Love to own one, have lots of old street stuff, they were asking a ton. Scott B.
Happy New Year...Still lookin'...
The search goes on...Finders fees paid for leads!!!
They're out there somewhere...
There was a real nice one earlier last year in an auction in Canada I believe. Maybe you got that one.
Bummer...unfortunately I didn't see that one...
I take it you're looking for the full four sided sign not just panels....I never even knew what a "lighthouse" was till I got this a few years ago....and I never see them around in California...I mostly just collect sports related signs...Got this one back east on eBay from redhotrelics....

carlton your link for the photo is not working
They are hard to find...I think many got recycled for the war effort...There have to be some still hiding out there...
The lighthouse I have picture on page 1 is a much smaller version than the one your sign goes to...
Still looking...any type of traffic island or lighthouse style lights considered...Thanks!
There out there somewhere!!!
