WTB: nice Gargoyle Mobil cast base.

Hi, I posted in my welcome an early Gargoyle Mobiloil Socony Vacuum Porcelain Oil Sign Base cast iron I found today, is that what this piece is? What sign exactly would have gone on this? I'm trying to learn a bit. Found in an old gas service station being used to hold a light weight modern stand up in Charleston, WV.

Base would of been used to hold a Gargoyle porcelain lollypop sign, Interested in selling?, still need one.
