HELP! Jack, DB or ANYONE:
I looked at a visible pump today that is for sale. I couldn't find it in Jack's book and have never seen one like it.
I'm sending some pics to Doc to post for me.
As near as I can measure it looks like it needs skins that are gradually tapered from 8 1/2 inches to 14 inches at the base which is 20 inches dia. The skins (missing) would be 64 inches long an probably had a door to get at the valve to drain cylinder. The owner said they were dented up pretty bad so he threw them away 25 yrs. ago when he put it in his shop. I imagine all the tags went to the dump with them. The cylinder is 10 gallon etched, 26 1/2 inches by 12, I think, inches.
I would like to know who made this pump and an approximate value. Cylinder looks good but with the dust, it's hard to tell, for sure. The base is not broken or cracked. Anyone repop skins for this pump. Any help will be appreciated.

I had thought maybe ClearVision, so I went and measured the one version I have. The skins would be the same height as yours, but the taper goes from 9 1/2" to 16 1/2 ". I'm sure as soon as DB(the other DB, the smart one!) sees a pic, you'll have your answer!!

Dayton, Erie, Wayne or maybe Clear Vision. The etching and the cyl. size is key. Not a Tokheim, cyl is 12 x 27, not etched.

Thanks everyone for the help I.D.ing the pump and Dave for posting the pics. I knew you guys would come through. You guys are GREAT!
Before I make the deal on this pump, I still have a few more questions:
1. Does the pump handle operate from side to side like most visibles or up and down. When I look at the pic of the handle and valve, I wonder if this is the correct handle or is something is missing?
2. Does anyone repop the light conduit that comes down from the globe holder to the top of the cylinder? I see GPH has some for a Correct Measure. Has anyone used these?
3. Is the object near the globe holder a vent for the cylinder?
4. Does anyone have a good pic of a restored pump showing the door/doors on the skin?
Thanks for your help!
