Removing a G&B T176 pump - Sun Apr 24 2011 06:38 PM
This weekend I'm heading up to remove the G&B T-176 pump I bought from my Dad. It's still attached to the tank. Anything that I should watch out for when removing this? It's actually held up by the pipes and is not hooked up to electricity, so it looks like I should be able to unhook the pipes and it's free.
My understanding from another thread is that these have suction pumps. Just to make sure, is there anything in the tank I should get?
How much does one of these weigh (minus the globe)?
What is the height (again, minus the globe)?
I did find a pretty good thread on how to transport these and got some ideas on how to do it. Looks like a 2x8 sheet of plywood and some padding is the answer.
Thanks,
Jim
