If anyone has an original Frontier Gas regular or diesel grade lens (circa 1946-1956) as shown in the attached image of a reproduction, I would like to get a good quality photo of an original lens taken close up and straight on. An image size of at least 1600 x 1600 pixels would be best.

Please respond via a private message with photo attached. Or, I can provide an email address to send the photo to.

Thanks.

Are you going to reproduce the lens? If so, can you purposely make one thing obviously different? I mean if it’s a repop, it doesn’t have to be exact.

Make it a donkey rearing up.

Will this work? Probably older,it is on wide body glass--from a farm in Nebraska.

Easier just to mark it as a repro somewhere visible. That was my approach when I did a few lens.

If it's dated - it's a Reproduction.

If it's NOT dated/marked - it's Fraud.
