This carrier came out of a service station collection and so far I haven't had any luck identifying the brand. The owner remembers that the spout on the oil bottle was tall and cylindrical with no taper. Unfortunately, there are no bottles. Can anybody shed any light on this?

There are Shell bottles out there that are tall and cylindrical.
Measure from the bottom of the tray to the top of the bottle. Also measure the square and I will measure my bottle.

I owned a Shell bottle carrier. They don't look like that. Here is a pic of one as well as the bottles that go in it. This carrier was marked "Shell Pet. Co." so I know it's for Shell.

I'll get the dimensions although I think Brian H. might have already answered that question. I tried to tie it to Tydol because of their unusually tall, narrow bottles but struck out there also. UPDATE: The carrier is 16.5"W x 8.5"D and would take a bottle about 13" H. The individual bottles openings are 4" x 4".

The Shell bottles that Brian shows are the same as mine. Measurements are 14.5" to the top of the cap. Bottle is 3" diameter.
Hope someone knows about yours.
