I have 2 Authorized Dealer Agency signs. One is white with the Gulf badges on either side (obviously a Gulf dealer sign) and the other is a navy blue with no badges. The navy sign is the same size as the white sign. For years I assumed that the navy sign was also a Gulf dealer agency sign and was the precursor to the white sign. In this month’s addition of Petroleum Collectibles there is a pic from Morphy’s Auction of a navy sign (looks just like mine) but it has Mobil Pegasus emblems on either side. So here is my question.

Is my navy sign a Gulf or Mobil dealer sign?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have included pics of my 2 signs and the sign from Morphy’s Auction.
Thanks!

...Gulf sign; Mobil stickers, or paint, added by a collector or dealer, well after it served its original purpose at Gulf station in the 1930s...
