I caved in and bought my 2nd pump, another Tokheim 39 Short, for $400. Much better price than the 1st pump I bought back in late June. I was traveling for work SW of Rockford IL, and sitting in the hotel room I have a habit of searching Craigslist. Found a seller in Oak Brook IL (just outside Chicago) selling five pumps, each for $400. The 39 Short I bought has the add glass that my 1st pump doesn't feature. Some previous owner had brush painted heavy equipment gray paint over the whole pump. Looks terrible color wise, but it has no visible rust anywhere, and just a few panel dents. Now I have the option to leave my 1st pump in its vintage state, and refurb my 2nd pump to the Old Dutch brand.

Here is the craigslist listing for others looking for pumps at a good price: https://chicago.craigslist.org/sox/atq/d/chicago-vintage-gas-pumps/7023954671.html

Forgot to add this listing: https://milwaukee.craigslist.org/clt/d/richfield-gas-pump/7012882513.html

I was initially going for the Tokheim Tall, plus its a four add glass model. But when I found the deal in Chicago, I went for the lower priced one to match my other 39 Short.

That's a good price on those MS80s I think I'd have bought them all for that price!

Yes, the seller address is on Untica in Evergreen Park Il. He has four other pumps, Martin & Schwarts, Wayne, not sure of the other two. Same price on all of them, or he makes a deal on all four. Brian is a great seller, worth a call.

Tim up in Richfield WI (NW of Milwaukee) has the Tokheim 39 Tall with four add-glass, $750 which may be a reasonable deal for that pump.

That 39 Short I bought is rust free, ugly but clean. It has a few dents for me to smooth out on the main body, a slight metal tear down near the bottom, all easily within my metal working skills. The door panels are good, even has one piece of original glass over the gauge panel. The calculator is there, though not sure it turns/resets. I'll know that today once it's in the garage. Now the hunt starts to find "Old Dutch" branded goodies for this project.I already know the colors will be Dutch Royal Orange and Blue. Something like this, but orange instead of the white.

Yes, since Old Dutch original globes and products are very pricey I'll have to go the reproduction route unless I get real lucky and find a rare original globe. Same for the Rocket brand on my 1st pump. Rocket was a small fuel company in SW Wisconsin.
