Trying to remove old white paint off of this pump to get to the original blue paint underneath , I tried some paint & epoxy remover , but did not have much luck with it is there a better product ? that any body else has had good results with ?
Or should I just leave well enough alone ?

might be trying too remove too much patina,
would even try too add more rustic (patina) like Matt does .. ...

Rubbing compound and a scotch brite? I use purple p from autozone but you have to be careful as if you let it sit on too long it could take the blue paint with it.
