I responded to a ad for a North Star ashtray today and ended up going home with a great canvas banner advertising gold star and silver star gasoline. I was happy with just the ashtray but when the seller brought out the banner I was impressed and a deal was made!

Yes, nice find. Anything fabric of NS is uncommon in my short collecting career and more so with gold and silver star advertising. Did the previous owner have any history on the banner?

Unfortunately not, he had picked it up from another collector who had it for a while.
